Accessible Nova Scotia believes that accessibility means more than just access for wheelchair users. True accessibility and inclusion recognizes a diverse range of disabilities in all arenas of community life. Not only does it mean a wheelchair user can use the washroom at a Tim Horton’s it means they have Braille menus available for persons who are blind and know how to serve persons with intellectual disabilities. By providing accessible services and facilities, Nova Scotia can become an inclusive province for all its citizens and visitors
